Brian got his first tattoo when he was 17, the cat head with the quiff, which he drew out himself. He and Slim Jim cut school and went to Manhattan to get tattoos, Jim was about 16. Brian recalled that they always wanted tattoos and when they were younger they used to draw tattoos on their arms with crayons and make-up.
